A MEG STORY

ONCE UPON A TIME, IN A FAR AWAY LAND...

A TALE OF TWO MEGS

Once upon a time, I was just like many of you, trying to navigate the confusing world of health and fitness. But I had a secret weapon - my own determination.

​

You see, I wasn't always the picture of health. I struggled with anxiety, fatigue, poor performance, depression, chronic headaches, and even digestive issues. I was constantly going from one hospital appointment to another, searching for answers. But one day, I got tired of waiting for someone else to fix my problems. I decided to take matters into my own hands.

​

So, I became obsessed with understanding my own body. I dove headfirst into a decade-long journey to figure out how to get the most out of my health. And let me tell you, it was no easy feat. But with each small victory, I felt more and more empowered.

​

And now, after all these years, I can confidently say that I've cracked the code. I've gone from being a helpless victim of my own body to a fierce warrior, ready to take on any challenge that comes my way. And the best part? I want to share all of my hard-won knowledge with you. So, come on, let's get you feeling good about your own journey and see what we can learn about ourselves along the way.

 

SERIOUS FACTS

    â€‹I've spent the last decade learning from the best fitness courses and health mentors in the world.

    I've used this knowledge and experience to help people transform their health, mindset and performance (we're overcoming anxiety and completing marathons like its trendy, baby!)

    I'm a qualified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist.

    I am also a qualified Advanced Breathwork Instructor, Yoga teacher, Biomechanics Specialist and TRS Movement & Mobility Specialist.

    I am an absolute NERD when it comes to Mindset and Behavioural Change.

    My life's purpose is to keep helping others (and myself) discover the best, healthiest and most truest versions of themselves.

    Knowing thyself, thy body and thy mind is a superpower (Call me 'Meggie Shakespeare').

FUN FACTS

    In the last 7 years, I've raised over £80,000 for Young Lives Vs Cancer doing bonkers     endurance events (it got so out of hand that I've genuinely lost count of how many). 

    I've cycled from London to Paris in 24 hours (and only lost my friends twice once).

    I am a 2x Guinness World Record Holder.

    I was a multiple Half Ironman and now I'm a full Ironman/woman/person.

    I attended a 10 day Vipassana Meditation retreat (I've not reached enlightenment as I           like pizza too much BUT it did change my life and I learnt how to overcome my anxiety).

    I once beat Arnold Schwarzenegger in a drag race (the 4-wheeled kind).
